We’re excited to rollout a new feature to help you write a resume that better fits the job when you apply. We all know that it would help to tailor our resumes for each job when we apply, but this process can be tiring especially in a tight job market. Smart Resumes make this easier by leveraging the power of AI, which recommends the best of your experience for a specific job.

Here’s how it works in 5 steps:

  1. First, create a new Brag Sheet and name it.
  2. Choose Resume from the Templates menu. This will open our new Resume Builder experience.
  3. Click Add Job Description in the Smart Resume panel at the top.
  4. Paste in the text of the job description from wherever you found it and pick the number of related experiences you want to include in your resume. Click Select Related Experience.
  5. Double check the selected experience. For each selected experience you’ll see a score for how well it matches the job description. Pick any other experience you wish to include and click Build Resume.

Congratulations, you now have a generated resume, using your own work experience that is tailored to a job description. From here you can tweak it or export it. Don’t forget, the more work experience you record in Career Minder, the better recommendations it can provide.
